Showcase 2010!

posted by Leigh Anne

I’m just home from Showcase and what a great time it was!  I have been to 19 Showcases and I have to say I think it was one of the best ones ever.  I can’t believe how many people told me the same thing as they were leaving.  It was a smaller Showcase than normal but CM showed so much forward/progressive thinking in the announcements and things they shared.   We really are a new company with lots of new and exciting plans!

I am anxious to share all that I learned at our Live and Local meeting on Monday, August 9th at 7:00 p.m. at my home.  If you are not local or able to attend be sure and call in on the webinar put on by my upline Katie Robinson (you should have received an email about it )

I have lots to share but need to do some laundry and get caught up on a little sleep first.  I also have a fun little incentive for the team too that I will be sharing via email and the blog in the next few days so stay tuned.

In the meantime here are some photos I took during the weekend to share!

I arrived in Minneapolis on Thursday in time to attend the Leadership Dinner.

One of the best parts of Showcase is connecting with those team members who are not local.  It was fun to spend some time with Cindy, Danielle and Kristy from back east!

The best part was watching Kristy walk across stage as a brand new unit leader and share her first leadership banquet with her!

I also got to spend time with many of my special CM friends – especially my roommate Deb!

We missed those of you who were not able to be there – Hi there Flat Sue!!

There were lots of exciting announcements – a partnership with Access Hollywood’s Nancy O’Dell who is a scrapbooking maniac besides being gorgeous!

And then there was the new logo – loving it!

Our cupcakes at lunch had the darling shutter flower on top!

TimiSue and her team joined me for lunch on Friday.

Saturday was full of breakouts and another general session.

I enjoyed watching the Award Ceremony with Pam Winn and her team and TimiSue and her team and a few of Karyn Kambur’s team members – Lisa and Barb from California.

Dinner was after the awards ceremony this year and remote team members – Karyn Kambur and members of her team,

Cindy Scalera and her team

and Debby Lazarone joined me.

CM always sets a pretty table.

Can’t wait to share more information and details about the weekend!

Party on the Go!

posted by Leigh Anne
Have you checked out the Party on the Go!
This is a great idea for summer – easy on both the Consultant and Host! It’s basically a catalog party, so the host doesn’t have to pick a specific day and time to have people over to her house for a Get Together. The Consultant would just put the newest products coming out in July in the special logo tote bag along with catalogs and order forms.
In order to take full advantage of this concept, you will need to be registered for either the NPI or NPI+ (New Product Introduction) programs by June 8. Why? Because the NPI orders will come with the logo tote bag, host fliers, and all the newest products that you’ll want to put in the bag! The exact contents and retail value/consultant cost of NPI has not yet been announced. I’ve copied the info below from the cmc-network – so, the links contained below ARE NOT live.
You will need to go to cmc-network, click on the Campaign Headquarters button at the top of the screen, then click on the Party to Go link to see the full info and have access to live links. There has already been an invitation created in SB+ for this event, and I’ve included the instructions below for how to download it (again – the links in this email are not active – you’ll need to log onto cmc-network for that). You can then personalize the invite and email it to your customers! Or, you can have them printed as 4 x 6 photos to hand out in person or mail. Most Consultants would receive the NPI shipment on or around June 11. You can also wait until June 15, and then utilize the sampling program and order a tote bag from Logo Depot — that shipment would come around June 22. So – if you utilize NPI, you can have everything before Father’s Day and have Party on the Go events scheduled in June. If you go the other route and wait until June 15 to order items, you may not be able to hold a Party on the Go until July (mostly because it will take a week or more to get items from Logo Depot).
I hope many of you will take advantage of this concept and have fun with it this summer!

Become Digitally Endorsed

posted by Leigh Anne
In March CM launched it’s Digitally Endorsed program.  Here is a helpful tip of how to add the Digital Endorsement Seal onto your portrait to have it be included on your website.  Thanks to Sue Benedict for passing these directions on.  See the directions below her sample portrait.

Instructions: Open a New Project in SB, 4×6 portrait.  Bring in the photo you want to use and the Digitally Endorsed Seal CM sent you that you have downloaded to your computer.  Bring the Seal over first and make it big enough to see what you are doing.  Go to Cut and Fill tab at the top and choose the wand feature.  You will get the dancing ants around the seal.  Click on “cut around the selected area”, delete the white part of the seal you cut off and then reduce the size of your seal.  Bring over your photo and move the seal to the front.  Save this page as a jpeg by choosing “Save Pages As”, save on your computer and then bring into your Website using the Website Manager under Business on CMC-Network.
